Drew Brown finishes second, holds on to win Semi-Pro Division

Anderson Motor Speedway May 30, 2008 - Wesley Thompson claimed the overall victory and the victory in the Pro portion of the 600 Legends race. Two different drivers held the lead position during the race with a third driver making it a three car free for all before the 600 Legends race came to an end. John Gallman grabbed the lead as soon as the green flag dropped on the race and held the lead the first five laps before he relinquished the lead to Wesley Thompson. Although Thompson led the next fifteen laps and eventually received the checkered flag he had his hands full each of those laps. Gallman pressed Thompson repeatedly until lap eighteen when Andrew Brown passed him for the second position. Brown pressed Thompson on lap nineteen and on the final lap Gallman rejoined the fray and on the final lap it was anyone race but in the end Thompson held off the stiff competition to take the victory. Andrew Brown finished second and claimed the victory in the Semi Pro portion of the race. John Gallman finished third. Jerry Rector finished fourth and claimed the victory in the Masters portion of the race. Randy Gunton finished fifth.
